Trump Calls Marjorie Taylor Greene ‘Disgrace’ to Republican Party
Donald Trump called Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene a “disgrace” to the Republican Party on Saturday. This followed Greene’s criticism of Trump for not supporting her demand to release documents related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Trump shared his response on Truth Social, calling Greene a “traitor” and accusing her of hurting the party.
“Marjorie ‘traitor’ Green is a disgrace to our GREAT REPUBLICAN PARTY!” Trump posted.
Greene Criticizes Trump Over Epstein Files
The tension started when Greene criticized Trump for withdrawing his support for her re-election campaign. The withdrawal was linked to her frustration with Trump’s refusal to release the Epstein files, something she had pushed for.
“I never thought that fighting to release the Epstein files, defending women who were victims of rape, and exposing the powerful elites would have caused this, but here we are,” Greene said on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday morning. She did not mention Trump by name, but the message was clear.
Greene argued that the country needed a new direction. She said, “The toxic political industrial complex thrives on ripping us all apart but never delivers anything good for the American people.” She also stressed that “America First America Only” was the way forward.

Trump Responds to Greene’s Criticism
Trump quickly responded to Greene’s attack. He called her “wacky” and a “lunatic” on Truth Social. He also said he was withdrawing his support for her re-election.
In his post, Trump pointed out his “record achievements for our country.” He also criticized Greene for constantly complaining instead of focusing on the nation’s needs. “All I see ‘Wacky’ Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN!” Trump wrote.
Republican Party Faces Growing Divide
This feud highlights the growing divisions within the Republican Party. Greene, once a strong Trump ally, has become increasingly vocal about certain issues. Meanwhile, Trump’s response underscores his need to balance his relationships within the party.
Both figures remain influential in conservative politics, but their feud could have long-term effects on their political futures. The battle over the Epstein files and other issues may deepen the divisions within the GOP.
